Living a life of fulfillment and happiness seems so far away when it’s Monday and you hate your job. The first time I started working from home, my relationship with Mondays changed #entreprenurlife. If that’s not in the cards for you right now read on to find out how you can have the weekend mindset ALL WEEK LONG.
Since a young age, most of us started out believing that weekends are the only time for us to relax and unwind, I mean no school amirite? Then we get into the adulting phase and weekend means exchanging the constricting bra for a comfier and possibly no pants with an oversized T. Whatever your comfy weekend looks like you can always stretch that out to seven days a week instead of two.
That hyped up mindset of hating Mondays and forever waiting for Friday gets so exhausting. Think about this, what is it that you do on the weekends that makes you love it so much more than the week? What is it that makes you feel good from the inside out? Are you relaxing more, working on something you love working on, taking time for yourself, curling up with a good book? What is it!? If you can answer this then I have a simple solution.
The solution for a never-ending weekend: Don’t stop. Your weekend mindset can essentially start and stop whenever you want it to.

For me to create my never ending weekend I realized that I just had to do one of two things. I had to start doing things that I loved when I wanted to and stop doing the things I loved doing when I wanted to. Pretty simple right? It’s pretty silly to only do or wear the things that make you comfortable two days out of the whole week right? So what’s stopping you? The best way to carry out your version of the weekend into the work week is to continue doing exactly what it is that you want to do, meaning setting aside the time and having the self-discipline to prioritize for yourself. If self-care is only happening for you on Saturday and Sunday then you’re doing it way wrong girlfriend.
I don’t know about you but I love Monday mornings, it’s a time for new opportunities, a time to take a chance on yourself and a time to reflect on the awesome week that’s ahead. I want to challenge you to come up with a weekly routine so that you can experience the never ending weekend too. Don’t waste half your weekend worrying about the week ahead. In fact, today is Monday, I’m wearing yoga pants, a basic t and I tossed on the comfiest seamless bra when I went to walk Maya this morning.
