So as you may have known, I went to New York Citaaaaay for a few events and fashion week of course!  Over the next few days I’ll be sharing my fashion diary and NYC adventures on the lifestyle section of ze blog. Basically everywhere I went Taylor Swifts “Welcome to New York” was playing in my head. New life theme song maybe?

Day 1 we settled into our hotel and did what most adults do upon arrival.

We not only had a gorgeous view from our room…

But from the streets as well!

We walked around NYC taking pictures of the gorgeous buildings, street signs and graffiti for a few hours. We were playing tourist…hard…. and there was no shame in our game.

Later that night we met up with a friend of mine and talked fashion and food! We were in Manhattan so how could we not! Nathan Braun is a fashion designer based in New York, New York. He is beyond talented, I have been trying to get him to make me something for years. He shared some of his next big fashion plans with us over dinner and I can’t wait for you guys to see what’s coming! I’ve realized just how much New Yorkers love their Hampton getaways so why not play in style.

My outfit for day one was pretty simple, I wore a caged bralette from Forever 21 , and paired that with a basic grey tank from H&M, my favorite joggers from Pac Sun & my favorite boots also from Pac Sun , I tied the look together with a jacket that was part faux leather and part sweatshirt material to stay warm from sohogirl.com For accessories I kept it simple with my gold J necklace, and gold studs. Whenever I travel my main goal is comfort, my flights are generally early morning and I’m usually the one to over pack.  Carting my suitcases from terminal to seat and vice versa is less miserable when I can move easily. This is coming from the girl who brought a shoes only suitcase for Vegas, Mexico and New York. #notevenmadaboutit
