Isn’t it amazing how lace is made, there is so much left unsaid between the thread, important gaps and delicate spaces that create a beautiful pattern. This particular lace dress is from Apricot Lane, and I love the delicate details on the sleeves and bottom hem of the dress. Hundreds of thread is left to unwind into a machine separator that arranges the thread, or it is arranged by hand. It’s so amazing to think that it’s the spaces between the thread that make the pattern and not just the thread itself. Think about all the things that we choose to say and what we choose not to say, our gaps and our spaces, our behaviours and our patterns, we are all made up of these intricate beautiful little details.

People really are amazing if you take the time to get to know an individual, especially ones you wouldn’t normally interact with. In my second year of blogging on Lifestyle Finesse I’ve gotten to know and meet so many amazing people. It’s been a wonderful journey. I didn’t address this in March when LF had it’s anniversary, but thank you! To each and everyone of you who have been here for the ride both new and old, thank you for growing with me. The comments, the shares, the laughs and the genuine connection, thanks for filling in a place that was was an empty space on the internet.
