So I am the queen of benders, I’ve only had a mini one since 2016 has started, however as I continue on in my health journey I’ve found that it’s easier to get back on track and stay on track.

Today I wanted to reach out and share with you three of my favorite go to healthy meal options. *Phew! Now if that wasn’t a mouthful, these food options just might be! While these are vegan based I do want to mention that you can build up from this base by adding different ingredients as you deem necessary. This is just a healthy health start but the possibilities are endless! Om nom nom!

Breakfast Bagel

This bagel keeps me full well into my snack time, which is about 2-4 hours later depending on whether or not I know I’ll be having a late lunch or not. I am often in a rush when it comes to breakfast but hey you know what they say, breakfast is the most important part of the day ay ayyyy. *Drops mic *beats chest *I’m out

Okay so even if you’re not an amazing breakfast rapper like yours truly ahem #thuglyfe we know one thing to be true which is you have to fuel your body so why not start the day off with something that tastes fresh. This is best when you toast the bagel first, but if you want to eat it on a squishy bagel or eat warmed up veggies, be my guest.

  • Toast
  • Spread Avocado
  • Add Tomato
  • Add sea salt & pepper
  • If you want to get real fancy add Rosemary (like I did here)

Did you read this next segment and think to yourself mmm Mc Donalds snack wrap, if you did I won’t judge you. I haven’t had one of those in years but I promise you this is better than that slimy little wrap with that rubbery piece of chicken they give you. Did I just low key throw shade at Mickey D’s? Why yes, yes I did. I’ve been there once, however I promise you that this wrap will give you the enough energy to make it through dinner time or in my case pre dinner, or snack time or pre dinner snack. It’s so guilt free I might even have three. You guys I can’t stop, I wish I could but my rhyming skills are on fire today.

  • Whole wheat tortilla wrap
  • Onions
  • Lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Avocado
  • Sea Salt & Pepper
  • Honey Mustard Dressing

Lunch/Dinner Bowl

I’d like to take a moment to say that I’m a lazy cook and all of these require minimum prep time. If you follow me on snapchat [missjodik] you are well aware of what I’ve been cooking and stuffing into my gob. I’m always inspired when you guys send me your food snaps too because sometimes it’s exactly what I’ve been craving! I also do have to admit sometimes I’ll snap a few of my boyfriends delicious meals (remember when I said I was a lazy cook) as well as well so if you’re ever hungry and need some quick meal inspo give Calvin a follow on instagram at @calvinsta22 he’s a bit new to the gram but posts some drool worthy recipe ideas.

These veggies bowls are so filling and quick to make here is the low down.

  • Rice or Quinoa (for your base)
  • Sautéed asparagus and tomatoes
  • Veggies mixture (one of those veggie bags)
  • Avocado
  • Sea salt & pepper

Too easy right? Also if you just happen to have a thousand avocados on hand that are minutes away from turning brown (avocados are so hard for me to have on hand) like I do, these recipes are perfect for eating them all up!
