It’s the first day of summer! Eeee less Monday’s and more summer I alway say. Being an island girl I’m a little biased when it comes to warm weather. Although spring is my favourite season of them all, summer is when the world seems to be the busiest. This summer the off the shoulder trend is everywhere and I’m obsessed. This shirt from Apricot Lane Boutique is so fun and flirty! You can let the tassels hang or tie them like I did here. I will be rocking more boho vibes this summer so this shirt was a perfect addition to my closet.
I found these fringe booties at target last year, they are so comfortable! To add my own touch of edginess into the mix I went with these ripped high waisted jeans from Forever 21. You can shop a similar look below! I wish these earrings weren’t sold out because I would link them for you, seeing as they were only $4.21 from Zauful I wish I bought the matching necklace!
What I love about this shirt is how comfortable it is, you wouldn’t be able to tell that I just ate a huge bowl of veggie stir fry. The layers come off when it gets warmer and I like to go for lighter loose fitting pieces. Comfort is always my #1 priority, not to mention when it gets too warm out, I don’t always fair well in the heat so light flowy fabrics such as this one help to keep me cool. Seeing as I no longer live by the ocean, I’ll have to settle for this.
This summer I plan on going on a little get away with the boyfriend, spend more time with friends, go on more walks, hikes and adventures and just overall seeing new places and trying new things! Love it! Looking great as always. It’s the first day of summer here in Wales and we brought it in with the rain and the wind. Hey hon, your summer plans sound like fun, I’m applying for jobs at the moment and going for interviews..ya know: all that fun stuff! So planning a hols at ze mo is not an option…but its nice n sunny in Berlin so I’ll enjoy that when I can.
