“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary.” – Nike

I found this Nike coat while perusing the sale racks. I picked it up and put it down, then picked it up again and told my boyfriend I was going to buy it. He laughed at me. It looks a little odd but I really like that it’s unique! This coat is perfect on the days that I want to do a quick cardio workout outside (this generally consists or shuttle sprints and a jump rope routine). I have a lighter purple spring jacket that’s really not great for outdoor workouts. I would be cold during my enter workout routine.

I ran my first mile in a pair of Nike shoes and I got in shape with the Nike training app [that was free at the time]. They’ve been a very motivating factor during my journey. I love what they say about achieving the impossible, pushing past limits and never giving up. As the year comes to an end we’ll see more people getting inspired and being inspired, so get ready for an onslaught of new year new me quotes and new fitness goals.

I don’t necessarily believe in waiting for the New Year to become the best version of yourself because why wait when you can do that year round! I reflect on my fitness goals often. At the beginning of this year I told myself I would write all my workouts down and I’m proud to say that I’ve stuck with it for the most part. I have a notebook of workouts to re-visit at any time and it motivates me to keep going. I’ve been on a health and fitness journey for many years now and while my weight may fluctuate I try to focus on keeping my mind set the same. I’ve come too far to give up now. What may seem impossible at first really is only temporary.

Find what motivates you and stick with it, just do it!
