Apricot Lane Boutique GB

Apricot Lane Boutique offers trendy fashion forward merchandise, jewelry and accessories!  As soon as you enter the store you are greeted by friendly people and a friendly atmosphere. Apricot Lane Green Bay gives back to the community as well so I was very happy to feature them on Lifestyle Finesse as this is a big part of what I stand for!

Ken Peterson founder and CEO of Apricot Lane Boutique said “Similarly to the way styles and trends evolve, our company continues to progress. We’re so grateful and humbled by our rapid growth. We consider God as the chairman of our board and are guided by proverbs 21:21 (whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor). Alongside our storeowners, we work tirelessly to manage our brand while maintaining the flexibility our franchisees enjoy.”

Within the store you will find;

Giving Keys

The giving keys symbolize how we are all unique. People who are transitioning out of being homeless are given a job which is to make jewelry out of these keys. The keys are repurposed, sold and shared worldwide. The mission behind each Giving Key is to pass on a message, each key has a unique message of courage, hope or strength. The person wearing the key is supposed to pass the key on as a way of paying it forward once they cross paths with someone who they feel might need the message on this beautifully hand crafted key. If you know someone who may be homeless living in the Los Angelos area tell them about the giving keys.

style with purpose bracelets

Human trafficking generates a profit of roughly $32 billion per year. It is is the third largest international crime industry after  illegal drugs and arms trafficking. Last year I added Love146 to the list of causes that I support and I was thrilled to see the Apricot Lane GB sold these bracelets that supported this cause.

Style with purpose

Each of these beautiful handcrafted bracelets are made by a victim. 3 Strands believes in employing, educating and engaging each girl by giving them a job, and educating them so they can be assimilated back into the community that often ostracizes them with the stigma that comes from their horrific experiences.

In Cambodia there is a Sandalwood tree that drops a pod, inside each pod is a seed and this seed is a part of each bracelet or a red bead. They represent the children trapped in sex trafficking. The seeds serves as a reminder of the beauty within. 100% of the profit of these bracelets go towards rescue efforts for children trapped in sex trafficking.

Emi Jay

Emi and Jay donates 20% of all company profits to charity. They started their mission in 8th grade and six years later they have made their dreams come true. These two ladies are an inspiration, it definitely shows that hard work and dedication with a side of sparkles can definitely make any dream come true. They have partnered with the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles to create hope and build a better future. House of Hope

House of Hope is very dear to my heart, the name has changed but the mission behind it hasn’t. For several years I volunteered at the Marion House which was a home to help teenage mothers and their babies, it was a second chance at a better life, their name has changed to House of Hope and that name is so fitting. Apricot Lane GB sells the jewelry made by each of the girls. Alongside these gorgeous headbands are button necklaces “Buttons for Babies” and 100% of the proceeds goes to House of Hope. Being able to have such a large impact on such a small soul is something that I can’t express in words. I am fortunate enough that I am able to donate my time and resources to those who are less fortunate and this is another great way to give back.

Too often we “don’t have the money” for a donation, or the “time” to help those in need. However there seems to be time and money for shopping next time you’re at the mall think about what you’re supporting and how far your money can stretch
