My childhood was filled with imagination and knee bruises from playing outside. Texting consisted of notes folded in little paper triangles. If I was having a bad day I would watch Rugrats and Hey Arnold episodes that my mom helped me record on a VHS. Some of my best memories with my friends would include listening to CD’s that we made for each other on our discman. The Windows Start Maze screen saver made school a little bit better and floppy disks were the future.

Getting sticky from a minute made juice bar on a hot summer day was never the end of the world because you could wash off in the sprinkler. Playing Brain Quest made you feel smart and wearing Tommy Hilfiger was cool. Your school was cool if it had a Fruitopia machine. You would get in trouble at school if your books weren’t covered and you would get sent home from school if you were caught feeding  your Tamagotchi too many times.

I love mixing and matching styles and a great way to make an old outfit trendy again is to pair it with a newer piece! I’ve had this daisy dress for as long as I can remember, but I received this bomber jacket from Rose Gal and it was a perfect match! This jacket is lightweight and airy so it’s perfect for layering! You can find it here! I miss the 90’s life was so much simpler and I’m so happy that some of these fashion trends are back. It makes me feel a little old because to the generation after me this is all new. Chokers and acid wash jeans, funky prints and hair buns are now tumblr af. But us 90’s babies are welcoming  back the trends and I’m hoping this time it stays!
